The problem
Retention is the hardest number in the building
Bars are good at getting people through the door once. Almost none have a system that records who came back, or that gives a guest a concrete reason to choose the same place twice.
Your POS counts tabs, not people
A regular on their fortieth visit and a tourist who will never return look identical on the receipt. Without identity attached to a transaction, there is no way to measure retention, let alone improve it.
Midweek has no lever
When Tuesday is quiet the options are discounting or buying reach. One costs margin on guests who would have come anyway, the other reaches strangers. Neither tells you who actually walked in because of it.
Loyalty that lives in someone's head

How it works
Three steps on the floor
The whole loop runs on a phone and a six digit code. Confirmation is the control: points only exist once a staff member has matched them to a real tab.
Guest checks in
They open SipCoin at the bar and check in. Nothing to install on your side, no tablet, no reader, no POS integration.
Staff confirms the receipt
The guest reads out a six digit code, your bartender confirms it against the tab. Points are credited from the confirmed line items, so the total cannot be inflated.
They redeem and return
Points come back as drinks, entry, or perks you define. Every redemption is a recorded return visit, attached to a real person.
